What were the reasons of Odoo choice?

Company decided to implement Odoo for several key reasons. Previously, they were using nine different platforms to manage their operations. As the company grew, this approach led to scattered information, making it increasingly challenging to maintain a clear overview of their processes.

The complexity of handling orders also increased significantly due to the many different components involved in each project. Coordinating these components across various platforms made it difficult to track orders, communicate effectively, and ensure timely deliveries.

By switching to Odoo, Resize Design aimed to consolidate their operations into a single, unified system. This transition would not only streamline their workflows but also provide a centralized location for all information, making it easier to manage orders and improve overall efficiency.

Interesting Facts about the Project.

Resize Design, a company with teams in Lithuania and Sweden, needed help organizing a complex workflow to deliver custom products for designers and end clients. They work with many suppliers, mainly in Lithuania, to produce tailored products. Each order often requires coordination across several manufacturers before all parts are gathered in a central warehouse, assembled, and then shipped.

This project was interesting due to the unique needs of the company, which required some creative adjustments to the ERP system. Working with such an experienced and supportive team made the project enjoyable, and we quickly aligned on a shared vision for its success.

Features Implemented in Odoo:

Process Digitization. Their main challenge was managing a large variety of products with different features and ensuring smooth communication between the two locations. To solve this, we implemented the Odoo ERP system with a multi-company setup, which allowed both teams to work in sync and automate many of their processes.
Data Structuring. One key part of our project was organizing their data, which had previously been unstructured. We created a clear process to track each step—from a client’s initial request to final production with suppliers.
Accounting for Lithuania. We implemented a fully localized Lithuanian accounting solution for Resize Design using our custom modules designed specifically for the Lithuanian market in Odoo ERP (i.SAF, Lithuanian Accounting Reports, Currency Rate Update Localization, Expenses Lithuanian Localization, Lithuanian VAT taxes classification and other). This integration of Odoo Accounting with other ERP components was essential for the client, ensuring seamless and efficient operations across their system.
B2B Portal. We also developed a B2B e-commerce platform where designers can log in, browse products, and place orders, making it easier for Resize Design to connect with their clients.
